From Property Redevelopment to a Better Path to Homeownership

Urban Roots Home Solutions grew directly from the property work being done through Urban Roots Properties. We saw people making years of payments toward homes they did not legally own, while contract-for-deed structures prevented them from accessing many owner-occupied repair programs and other forms of assistance. At the same time, investors needed a structure that protected the property, the financing, and the agreement.

The URHS Home Ownership Success Program™ was built to address both sides. It creates a structured path toward ownership while maintaining documented protections for the investor and clear responsibilities for the homeowner. Urban Roots Home Solutions administers the process, education, documentation, property standards, and ongoing support.

The system is built around four commitments: protect the investor, empower the homeowner, strengthen the neighborhood, and create a better path to homeownership. Participation, financing, grants, property availability, and final approval are never guaranteed.
